Why the moon landing could never have occurred. It is the same reason that, despite exponential tech advances, we have not had a “moon mission” since Apollo. The Van Allen radiation belts that extend from 1000 to 36,040 kilometers above the earth kill all life. We have never even sent a dog up that high because we know that it would have returned dead.
-
I consulted Wikipedia to learn the Truth:
I was informed:
The Belts endanger satellites, which must have their sensitive components protected with adequate shielding if they spend significant time near that zone. Apollo Astronauts going through the Van Allen Belts received a very low and non-harmful dose of radiation. [4][5]
Reference 4 is a puff piece by a journalist, and 5 was censored off even the Wayback Machine.
I also interviewed a Jet Propulsion Labs (JPL) engineer*—a “real” scientist. He knew all about the Belts and answered my questions with enthusiasm. But when I started asking what kind of sorcery brought the astronauts back alive, he stumbled. After hesitating, he claimed that Apollo somehow went through “holes” in the Belts, magically skirting the radiation. He never mentioned lead shielding because he knew that this would have been absurdly heavy.
I pressed him about Wernher von Braun, history’s foremost rocket engineer, who calculated that three rockets as tall as the Empire State Building would be needed to carry a moon mission’s theoretical payload. My expert abruptly told me, “Apollo happened, and that’s that,” then terminated the conversation. The Astronauts Gone Wild video below demonstrates similar behavior.
For more proof, see the references. After studying it all, I think the moon mission frauds are transparent to anyone with a physics background.

* JPL is NASA’s funded research and development center and is operated for the Agency by Caltech. I live in the Pasadena area and have known many JPL employees. They were, to a man, j**k-o**s who read too much science fiction and had jobs that seemed to require only a few hours a week. When I asked them what they did, they sounded like DC employees—they said,“I work for the government.” I always thought they might be doing something too technical to explain, but ever since I learned NASA was a fraud, I doubt it.

Errata that Dave added after the podcast:
The Van Allen belt stats I gave were precise.
[Dave quoted Wernher von Braun, the German rocket scientist] Regarding von Braun, I was right about the height of the rockets he said would be required to reach the Moon—three rockets, each as tall as the Empire State Building (1,250 feet), but their weight that would have been necessary is worse than I recalled. I misremembered 32,000 tons, but it was 800,000 tons. This is a 32,000 percent difference compared to the 2,500 tons used for the supposed moon launch.

#2 The chlorine dioxide post was one of my record views
If you missed it, study it HERE along with Christian Elliot’s tutorial for the home manufacture of chlorine dioxide solution (CDS) HERE. You can get the glassware Christian uses online or from the Dollar Store.
The ingredients are sodium chlorite 22.5 or 25 percent and 4 percent hydrochloric acid. You can buy either online in small quantities or by the quart. What do you think I did?
Consuming chlorine dioxide solution is less irritating than chlorine dioxide. You can make the latter by putting a few drops of each ingredient in a glass, letting them react, and then filling it with four ounces of filtered or distilled water before you drink it.
Obtaining the components for CDS
-
A simple method involving a tablet added to a base solution is HERE.
-
Frontier Pharma makes CDS for acne, mouthwash, and fungal skin infections but cannot promote it for oral or intravenous use.
-
CDS is available as a “nasal cleaner” HERE.
-
Buy pre-made CDS solution for “water purification” here.
-
For $150, you can get enough sodium chlorite 22.5 % and hydrochloric acid 4% from chemical supply companies to treat your entire neighborhood for years.
-
Amazon sells small amounts in dropper bottles, but many of the links are gone. HERE is one that still works.

Who took the wideangle video of the u201Cfirst stepu201D? Why canu2019t we see, with powerful telescopes, any of the junk we left up there? Those are just two of the simpleminded questions. If youu2019ve ever seen the Apollo craft in the Smithsonian youu2019d realize it was all bullshit.
A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Moon is a must-see movie for anyone who believe the NASA story, which is as unreliable as NIST’s explanation why building 7 at the World Trade Center fell straight down into its footprint.
After watching one of the videos another reason as to u201Cwhyu201D? Profit. It was much more profitable for the contractors, who are also the MIC contractors, to fake a successful endeavor than to spend lavishly on one doomed to fail. Because of the compartmentalization of the effort, one hand didnu2019t know what the othets could or couldnu2019t do, so a corrupt organizer could dupe the Federal govt as well as the people. Money, money, money, itu2019s always money!
I found your conclusion so difficult to understand for most of my life ( $ ) ?. God has grown me up, in the past couple of Covid years……what a journey !
I never questioned it either. The covid fiasco was the eye-opener.
me neither !
I was loosely aware of the issue but Dave kicked me in the head. His podcast is great and enhances his credibility
We have to face facts; there is no other choice.
There is always a choice Robert.

Face the facts. Then act on them. Itu2019s the only mantra I know, the only doctrine I have to offer you, and itu2019s harder than youu2019d think, because I swear humans seem hardwired to do anything but. Face the facts. Donu2019t pray, donu2019t wish, donu2019t buy into centuries-old dogma and dead rhetoric. Donu2019t give in to your conditioning or your visions or your fucked-up sense of . . . whatever. Could be. Most things we do are trade offs.
There is a danger here, Doc, that you will be pulled into one rabbit hole after another, and lose your way. Always remember: people are more gullible than you think they are. 🙂
I have never been small enough to fit in a rabbit hole.
My philosophy is based on virtually everyone else being more gullible than I could ever be. I can count exceptions on my hands.
Well, yes. But watch out for self-aggrandizement. Life is short, and all the traps set for us many. Best wishes.
If it weren’t for self-aggrandizement, some of us would never get any.
Haha. So true. Thanks for the day’s chuckle.

“My expert abruptly told me, u201CApollo happened, and thatu2019s that,u201D then terminated the conversation. ”
Very similar to other false flags. You start off with unspoken sketchy assumptions and go from there.
For example, RFK Jr’s new book —
u2018A Thrilling Crime Storyu2019: RFK Jr.u2019s New Book, u2018The Wuhan Cover-Upu2019 Hits Bookshelves Today
appears to pick up the narrative at …
“the unleashing of a viral worldwide pandemic”
It is assumed that “it” was “unleashed” It was a mysterious bad thing that was controlled and leashed by man but then, intentionally or unintentially, became unleashed.
It was “viral” – meaning it spread rapidly like a virus spreads or could mean it was literally a virus and therefore it spread rapidly just like a virus.
It was “worldwide. ” Redundant verbiage. “worldwide pandmic” to drive home the “it was very very bad” that it was a truly big big true pandemic. “Pandemic” automatically implies it is worldwide. If it was not worldwide, “epidemic” would be the correct word.
Sort of like SARS Redundant fear-promoting term Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome – SARS CoV 1 happened in USA about 2004 and it was a mild nothingberger. They needed a very big bad respiratory illness for the COVID Caper, ergo comes SARS CoV 2.
The title of the book contains several words and phrases, thrilling crime and coverup, that build upon these foundational assumptions.
I do not accept these assumptions. I ask questions and try to get the best answers based on looking at the widest range of data.
I acknowledge that the book’s hypothesis appeals to a lot of people who need to be let off the hook and it could be very efficacious for that purpose.
exactly. for a while I was taken in by JFK, Jr.’s efforts (and Rand Paul’s), but no more. the early pandemic narrative was based on a computer simulation (Event 201 – https://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2023/08/11/sen_ron_johnson_covid_was_preplanned_by_an_elite_group_of_people_planned_for_our_loss_of_freedom.html) in tandem with 3 or 4 pockets of “cases” in Europe and Asia, supported with health protocols that killed the weak.
James McCanney used to work in aerospace and while doing so got to know astronauts and cosmonauts. Several of the latter told him that the USSR had given up on getting to the moon because several animals and cosmonauts came back cooked to death by X-rays in the Van Allen belt. Since McCanney makes the only wind turbines that can operate at any wind speed and produce useful amounts of electricity, having won an X-prize, I believe him more than those who get upset by deniers.

Wow Dr YoHo – this was a great post. Funny about the moon stuff because I just decided it was a lie a few months ago after looking at a YouTube where someone was discussing the materials and heat problemsu2014 I was thinking this is so obvious and how come I spent my whole life believing it!? Iu2019m glad you wrote because itu2019s such an outlying change of belief that I didnu2019t really assess all the implications of being so manipulated. Canu2019t really even do it yet, but for so many reasons this year I have come to see that Iu2019ve been living in a bubble of complete deception. Where will it all end dear friend YoHo ? Thanks, doc. Great discussion. Glad to be adding Daveu2019s intelligent, waking mind to my sub list. So relieved Iu2019m no longer so alone like I had been for so many years prior to Substack. But I never doubted my own science and research. I just figure I was living in a bad u201CInvasion of the Body Snatchersu201D or the u201CThingu201D movie; that perhaps everyone was walking dead shells of what used to be real people. Daveu2019s correct. But there are not hundreds, but hundreds of thousands, perhaps millions of us by now who were disconnected, gaslighted with compartmentalization methods by government and media whou2019ve been feverishly trying to make us believe that perhaps we are all crazy or bad for believing in FalseFlag events; rejecting the Vaxx; questioning the moon landing; 9/11 and so on.
What Iu2019ve learned to be most important in addition to what Dave has discovered about government officials having u201Cvery average intelligence,u201D if not completely ignorant, is a psychological process their psych departments use in conjunction with gaslighting, which is totally controlled by individuals working in the shadows outside of government called u201Ccompartmentalization.u201D Itu2019s multi-layered, itu2019s imbedded on all levels no matter the government agency; sub-departments, offices and projects in house or in the fieldu2014operation: Keep them in the dark & scared most of the time, terrified some of the time and confused at all times.
If you havenu2019t seen the latest movie Oppenheimer (which I have a problem with, but still worth watching) or the Apple TV series Severanceu2014they both demonstrate u201Ctheiru201D methods of compartmentalizing people and offices to keep everyone in the system completely in the dark about reality in general; super micro-management controls from the top (presidents) down at the very bottom (broom pushers working in the basement). I learned this by experience in the Army, but my father explained it to me when I was still in grade school when he took me to work with him. I was considered unintelligent enough not to be a concern when it came to security (autism), however, in reality I sucked up every single detail, but just never communicated what I learned due to disabilities I was still working through all the way up to high school. Iu2019ve never stopped being terrified of my government and media, and u201Ctheyu201D still try to gaslight me about my fears and understanding of how our governments really function to this very day.
Canu2019t wait for your sunglasses article. They actually do have a functional purpose though, the blu-blocking sunglasses, but only at night (never during the day) or if you canu2019t turn off the blue spectrum on your computer, laptop or tablet monitors.
thanks for the encouragement
Dave is brilliant.
I’m a journalist ha
I visited Las Alamos recently and they claimed it had more millionaires per capita than anywhere else. Government workers as far as I could tell.
I have heard of the moon landing being fake and watched a humorous movie about it, but I am skeptical. This would mean the space stations must be a hoax as well as the launches of the space challengers. My uncle, a physicist and engineer, worked for a subcontractor on the space Challenger that blew up. He had a breakdown following the disaster. According to family folklore, his team warned that the temperature wasn’t right for the launch. They were ignored and he sat outside at his Florida home that fateful day with a brandy and waited.
“This would mean the space stations must be a hoax as well as the launches of the space challengers.” Wrong these are at lower altitudes as I understand it but you can comment further
nope, that would explain why we have space stations but not stations on the moon. But alas I am clueless. I look up at the sky in wonder and that is as far as I get.
Some people would say we can only disprove the moon landings by promoting the Flat Earth. Lol.
False dilemma.
flat earth seems like a qanon but what do I know
Q Anon is a psy opp with elements of truth mixed in. This is to discredit the child trafficking which really occurs.
exactly
a typical ‘divide and rule’ strategy. personally I like the idea (the idea!) of a geocentric outlook: it’s not earth that’s swirling around the sun and the planets but the sun and the moon on a trajectory above us.
FYI, the Van Allen belts start about 400 miles high. The space station, and all manned missions, are in low Earth orbit, well below 400 miles. One shuttle mission attempted to approach a satellite, which was about 380 miles high. As they got above 300 miles high, they began to see streaks with their eyes closed. This was radiation striking their retinas. There are no holes in the VA belts, and solar cycles do not make them acceptably less radioactive.
I’m sure the JPL.dude I spoke to was in on it

Another good one Robert! I have noticed that when you engage with someone that cannot satisfactorily answer the questions surrounding the moon shot, they tend to end the conversation with a hand wave and dismissiveness. It is highly frustrating because I was a child of the moon landing era. I watched it all live, and I believed, and I was proud. Now it just seems to be another lie our gov told us. Look into questions surrounding the Saturn V. The whole narrative starts to fall apart.
My reaction to the moon landing was, “Well, finally.”

Another one from email who believes in Apollo:
The Van Allen radiation belts can be dangerous to space travelers, but the extent of the danger depends on several factors, including:
1. Length of exposure: The longer an astronaut is exposed to the radiation, the greater the risk of harm. Fortunately, spacecraft traveling through the belts can do so quickly, minimizing exposure time.
2. Shielding: Spacecraft are equipped with thick shielding that significantly reduces exposure to radiation. This shielding protects astronauts from most of the harmful effects, making short transits through the belts relatively safe.
3. Solar activity: During periods of increased solar activity, the intensity of the radiation within the belts can increase significantly. This can pose a greater risk to astronauts, especially if their exposure time is extended.
4. Extravehicular activity (EVA): Astronauts performing EVAs outside the spacecraft are at greater risk than those inside. This is because they are not protected by the spacecraft’s shielding and are directly exposed to the radiation.
Here’s a breakdown of the risks:
Inside a spacecraft:
Short exposure: Generally safe due to shielding.
Prolonged exposure: Can increase the risk of radiation sickness and long-term health problems.
Solar flares: Can significantly increase the radiation dose received, even with shielding.
Outside a spacecraft (EVA):
High exposure: Can lead to immediate radiation sickness and even death.
Risk of long-term health problems: Increased risk of cancer and other diseases.

Overall, while the Van Allen radiation belts can be dangerous, careful planning and technology mitigate the risks significantly. With proper precautions, space travel can be undertaken safely, even in the presence of these radiation zones
===================================================================================
(I also asked where both are)
The International Space Station (ISS) orbits Earth at an average altitude of roughly 400 kilometers (250 miles). This altitude is below the inner edge of the Van Allen radiation belts, which begin at about 1,600 kilometers (1,000 miles) above Earth’s surface.
Wow – you weren’t kidding. This interview is fantastic. Learned even more today.
Lately I wish there were more hours in a day to read/study. This is like “Fractal” Rabbit Holes.
Subscriber: Sorry, but you’ve lost credibilty. The moon landing most certainly took place.
I related to your comment about grieving… I don’t think it’ll ever stop. I’ve spent $$$ on my teeth and come to find out it’s most likely due to orthodontics. I was also berated for decades by all knowing dentists about my “lack” of dental hygiene. uD83DuDE21 Bret Weinstein has an excellent interview with a dentist about the fraud in that practice. This is the result of the most in depth research of my entire life- regarding the core of the deceptions of the last years / decades / millenia, the covert weaving of a cyber physical backbone labelled COVID : https://telestai.substack.com/p/approaching-truth
Excellent discussion. Thank you.
After a great beginning, this one turned into a disappointment for me. I have done research into both the Lahaina fire, and the moon landings, and the evidence is no where near as definitive as he espouses.
On the topic of Lahaina, there is no question that there is at best complete incompetence on the part of the authorities, and more likely malfeasance. Police blocking the roads, emergency warnings not given, the city ignoring fire hazards that were identified years before, and frankly, this exact scenario nearly happened only a few years prior. The risks were well known, and no question the government is hiding the numbers of dead because they are culpable one way or another. I also donu2019t doubt the land grab.
However, none of this points to an intentional fire (direct setting of one) nor does it even remotely point to the use of an energy weapon.
I think that once people realize there are real conspiracies, they start seeing them everywhere, even where they arenu2019t.
Like I said, I am sure there is malfeasance, but what there isnu2019t is evidence of energy weapons. Why use a top secret energy weapon when a gas tank works far more efficiently (especially in a tinder filled city with hurricane winds)? I have now watched hours of videos claiming fire “expertise” (including ones posted on Payettesu2019s) and I found them thoroughly unconvincing. I simply donu2019t think Payette is evaluating the fire evidence critically. Iu2019ve been able to debunk or at least point out holes in every video claiming energy weapon so far. John Leake (McCulloughs substack) has published far more in depth writings u2013 after also being on site u2013 and he has much simpler explainations for the fire behaviour through conventional means.
I think a lot of people people also donu2019t realize how fire can actually occur. Iu2019ve seen the aftermath of a fire near my cottage and if my sister hadnu2019t witnessed it, I would not have believed what I saw. Ed Dowd who lives in Hawaii, and who I consider quite reliable has also stayed far away from any claims of DEWs.
On the topic of the moon landing this is a super interesting one, I used to dismiss the conspiracy theory without consideration, but not any more. However, Payette, didnu2019t do any serious homework from what I can tell.
Anyone truly interested in this conspiracy should read chapter 10 of Catherine Desoto’s book “Lies of Omission” where she argues for both sides of the moon landing story. It was an eye opener for me but none of the evidence, for or against is definitive.
The definitive arguments made by Payette are not even close to definitive. They are grey, and as a scientist, he should point that out, but I suspect he didnu2019t actually do the investigation like DeSoto did.
FWIW, I met her online in the old days of the online Vaccine/Autism wars (pre 2010) when she published a revaluation of a hair/mercury/autism study and found a correlation where none was found by the original authors due to sloppy or poor statistical analysis. She then engaged adeptly with Dave Gorski who slammed her study in his blog, but she withered the attack storm. She’s the real deal, and she may not get all of it right, but she did real homework on this one.
I am slowly writing an essay about the faked moon landings and was looking at comments here for insights and inspiration. I noticed yours and wanted to respond.
Dr. Judy Woodu2019s 544-page textbook, u201CWhere Did the Towers Go? Evidence of Directed Free-energy Technology on 9/11u201D is the most (if not the only) comprehensive scientific examination of the destruction of the twin towers. The forensic evidence contained in this body of work is unparalleled on this topic. If one has read “Where Did the Towers Go?”, one knows far more about 9/11 than most people, and one also knows what DEW destruction looks like. (Please read the book before arguing with these assertions.)
Reading Woodu2019s work is about 50 hours of homework and will provide anyone with an excellent immersion into DEW. It is through u201CWhere Did the Towers Go?u201D that I saw many uncanny parallels between 9/11 and Lahaina. I then met with a physicist and university professor whose area of expertise is none other than DEW. I found his assertions that both catastrophes were DEW attacks to be compelling. In addition to this, I spent dozens of hours doing my own internet-based research on DEW and this further reaffirmed things in my eyes. Regarding the Lahaina disaster more broadly, I respectively read and watched well over 75 articles and videos produced by a wide range of independent media sources, which I then compiled and published on my own substack. You can find this in Dr. Yohou2019s supporting material above. There are many compelling articles there which point to DEW use, including from several people who collaborate with Ed Dowd, of which more shortly.
The above was essentially my initial prep work on the Lahaina topic, which probably constituted about 200 hours in total. Armed with these insights, I then flew from London, my primary place of residence, to Lahaina to investigate things for myself. Thanks to a serendipitous connection, I was able to see an awful lot, including gaining at least partial access or visibility of multiple restricted sites u2013 two of which we were moved on from by patrolling soldiers. However, I have video and photographic evidence of it all and I do vigorously assert that the Lahaina destruction very closely matches an untenable amount of what we see in Dr. Woodu2019s book. Furthermore, in my experience, anyone brave or foolish enough to assert that Wood does not understand and has not documented her subject matter exceptionally well has either not read her book or has ulterior motives, as opposed to good arguments.
As for fire and how it behaves, my second home is on the adjacent Big Island of Hawaii, where I have a 30-year history, so Hawaiian wildfires are not new to me. The anomalies in Lahaina, for which there is no sufficient explanation that I am aware of outside of a DEW scenario, are too many to list here. Many are well covered in the above referenced compilation. However, one of the best examples I saw first-hand relates to the relatively new affordable apartment complex in the Lahaina business district called Kaiu0101ulu o Kupuohi – link below. Natural fire does not disintegrate large concrete-based apartment complexes into nothing any more than it does 500,000-ton skyscrapers (or the debris of the same) in south Manhattan. Half of this apartment complex was what Dr. Wood would call u201Cdustifiedu201D, while the other half, as well as the surrounding landscape were untouched. Natural open-air fire cannot u201Cdustifyu201D concrete buildings, nor does it behave in these other ways.

While evidence of DEW in the case of both attacks has been heavily censored and suppressed, it is also hidden in plain sight, and therefore readily accessible to those who actively seek it out. However, the population at large has been conditioned to be incurious, to not see such evidence, or when confronted with it to believe that the otherwise unbelievable is normal, much like we are being conditioned to either not see or instead to think that “died suddenly” is normal. The above article on Kaiu0101ulu o Kupuohi is an example of this kind of thing.
As for Ed Dowd, Iu2019m not sure about this, but you appear to place great weight on an act of omission. To my knowledge, Dowd has not commented either way on the matter of DEW. Nor am I aware of him having done sufficient enough research in this area to speak credibly on it, given that his is something of a public figure. Furthermore, doing so would seem to be a departure from his modus operandi. However, here on Substack, John Leake did report back following his own Lahaina visit, and he relayed a dinner conversation he had with Dowd. Through Leake, Dowd provided an excellent explanation for why such foul-play occurs in the world, but he stayed clear of specifics and in particular the u201Chowu201D, as he tends to do. Ed Dowd has done many amazing things, and he plays a very important role, but I can also think of several reasons, in addition to those already alluded to above, for why he might not want to not come out publicly on DEW, one way or the other. In any case, if there is one thing Iu2019ve learned over the past four years, it is to do my own research and investigations, rather than to look to authority figures or perceived heroes to inform my final views on important matters. So, for me, the Dowd thing is a non sequitur.
In terms of Murphyu2019s Law at work in Lahaina, by my back-of-napkin count, easily, 20 or more seemingly inexplicable material failings and other unfortunate coincidences occurred. Any one of them is more than worthy of an independent inquiry and probably also resulting sanctions, if not criminal prosecution, yet no such investigations are occurring in any transparent or convincing fashion. Meanwhile, at the same time, and as far as I am aware, there was no anomalous luck that went in the other direction in terms of materially mitigating the impacts of the disaster u2013 none. Therefore, I stand by my assertion to Dr. Yoho that this represents a statistical anomaly that is irreconcilable in the real world outside the confines of a deliberate plan.
Regarding my estimate that upwards of 1,000 children may have been killed in Lahaina, I understand that you did not challenge this, but I may as well take this opportunity to address it here. The estimate is based on the fact that some 3,400 children had still failed to report back to school long after the fires, as well as the scale and context of the destruction I saw with my own eyes, and what we know, including relevant specifics, about how the situation was handled on the day. The authorities have made perfectly clear in a multitude of ways that they have no interest in finding out or disclosing the real number of fatalities, children or otherwise. They have simultaneously argued unconvincingly that the number is small, while meekly suggesting that it is unknowable, unless the public provides the information; something these same authorities have made exceedingly difficult for surviving victims to do. They actually even put a time limit on this, which has long since expired. However, the governmentu2019s position on this matter is based on an obvious falsehood, if not an easy-to-see-through lie. In todayu2019s hyper-surveillance society, together with industry, who these same government officials proved so adept at closely working with throughout the first three years of the Covid oppressions, the ability to track and locate Lahainau2019s children or to determine their last location while alive would be relatively easy. I am a technologist with several decades experience in telecoms and mobile communications, among other relevant technology domains, so I am certain of what I am saying here.
Regarding the supposed tendency of one who comes face-to-face with conspiracies to start to see conspiracies everywhere, I can only speak really about my own journey u2013 no one elseu2019s. In my own case, I used to think the same thing. I now look at that as a phase or a stage in the journey. I never really had any substance behind this belief, and the more I researched it, the more I found that it is another narrative being pushed on us by the very same people perpetrating these crimes and conspiracies. Coincidentally, I discussed this very point in a substack article a few weeks ago, in the link below.

Regarding the faked moon landings, my homework here is comparable to that spent on Lahaina, but as mentioned, I am already working on an essay on this topic. Suffice it to say, I stand by my comments in the podcast, and I point you to the sources provided. Bart Sibrelu2019s book, Moon Man (2021) is also a good read.
Dr. Yoho and I tried to touch on a wide range of topics in little more than an houru2019s time. It would have been difficult to do any one of them justice in that time, hence shortcuts were taken out of necessity. Thanks for your understanding in this regard.
Hi Dave,
Pleased that you responded. Over the past 20 years, I’ve read a ton of theories about the twin towers collapse, especially since I’m an engineer, and I had staff working in the building during the incident while I was away on vacation.
I’ve never found Dr Woods’ videos convincing, but I admit I did not read her report 500+ page report.
I can appreciate that a one hour podcast one can’t provide a lot of detail. My issue, is that the most factual based arguments against the moon landing are the van-allen belt arguments. But that argument is far from definitive. Here I quote the book I referenced above:
“The Van Allen Radiation Belt is an area of high radiation that surrounds the Earth, caused by the magnetic field of the planet. There are some things that are not in dispute: it is highly dangerous and passing through it could easily cause lethal radiation poisoning. Deniers of the moon landing correctly point out that humans have not been beyond the belts in fifty years, and that the discoverer of the belts had originally expressed that technology in the 1960s would not allow safe crossing due to the high radiation.
There is an inner and an outer area of the radiation: the inner area starts at around 500 miles and extends to about 8,000 miles from the Earthu2019s surface. The heights of the belts vary as a function of where one is on Earth, the size is smaller at the poles, and larger at the equator. There is a break between the two areas, and the outer radiation belt begins at about 10,000 miles and ends around 25,000 miles out. For perspective, the diameter of the Earth is about 8,000 miles.
The levels of radiation at different heights are not identical, and the radiation varies such that at the poles, it is possible to leave the earthu2019s atmosphere with insignificant exposure to the radiation. However, this angle would have made achieving lunar orbit very difficult. Thank goodness they had actual rocket scientists working out how to do this. The path taken was calculated and the path is available to anyone truly interested, along with pictures and calculations. After illustrations and explanations, astrophysicist Dr. Margarita Safonova writes for the independent news source The Wire in 2019 that the Apollo 11 travelled across u201Cthe inner zone of the outer belt in about 30 minutes and through the most energetic region in about 10 minutes. On its way back, its trajectory was optimized such that Apollo 11 would steer clear of the belts as much as possible. It approached Earth from the south and was travelling at an even greater inclination and velocity than it had been on its way to the Moon. The astronauts were inside the fringes of the radiation belts for only about 60 minutes.u201D
The net damage from radiation exposure is a function of the intensity of the radiation and time length of exposure. In sum, the exposure did not add up to a lethal dose of radiation. The discoverer of the radiation belts, James Van Allen, lived about two hours south of me, in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa until he died in 2006. A moon hoax documentary categorically stated it would not be possible for living astronauts to cross the Van Allen Radiation Belts, and Dr. Van Allen had reportedly referred to the documentary as an u201Centertaining assemblage of nonsenseu201D and said that u201Cthe claim that radiation exposure during the Apollo missions would have been fatal to the astronauts is only one example of such nonsense.u201D
In 2004, Dr. Van Allen was asked by engineer and Clavius.org web page creator Jay Windley to verify the quote attributed to him. Dr. Van Allen agreed it was accurate and correct in 2004, two years before he died, and signed a letter to that effect. Van Allenu2019s handwritten verification of the quote can be found online, and Mr. Windley has the original. According to Windley, Dr. Van Allen was contacted because Windley (who created and monitored a moon hoax debunking website) was curious if the quote was accurate, and felt it was important enough to verify (personal communication, May 9, 2022). Apparently, Dr. Van Allen thought so too. This was his view of the question of radiation, the rocket path, and the protections against radiation that were employed. The authenticity of the quote, and signature, appears clear.”
WRT to Lahaina, I do not dispute death numbers. I also won’t claim this was a normal fire. In fact, I would claim the opposite it was abnormal because of the circumstances we know to be true:
1) High amounts of very flammable content
2) unique geographic situation
3) Hurricane winds
That makes a unique situation. All of those factors are natural and will contribute to an unusual fire without the requirement of hypothetical DEWs.
I am not saying there was no malfeasance. There might very well have been. My only contention is that I have not seen any compelling evidence of
1) The existence of DEWs that are portable and designed to vapourize concrete buildings 2) That any such DEWs were used in 9/11 or Lahaina.
Motives, government malfeasance, even intent, I can be convinced of all of that.
I do not doubt the lack of interest or effort on the part of the government to find the missing children. I also worked in Telecom (I am an engineer) and in software for 30 years. I know full well what is possible given enough interest. I also know my own government here isn’t interested in knowing how many 10’s of thousands of students they lost from the school system due to pandemic measures.
Anyways, my main contention is with the assertion that DEWs were used. The best evidence I’ve seen is a lack of ability to explain some aspect of the fire — which is not direct evidence of a DEW. Same with 9/11. A lot of the CA fire claims I viewed were nonsense IMO.
Building failures are dime a dozen in cities especially in those with tight knit communities and local government building authorities. I live in Toronto, and I can tell you the amount of building code violations is far more prevalent than buildings that follow code. In Lahaina, there were a lot of old building, which I’m sure were modified multiple times over decades. I would be curious what statistical measure you use to determine it was unusual. We would need a baseline of some sort to make that conclusion no?
As a trained engineer, I am 95% confident that structural failure in a 500,000 ton building would most likely lead to cascading failure and collapse, especially given the unique design of those particular buildings. Now, we can definitely debate and question what could have caused the failure of the critical load bearing members, but cascading collapse is precisely the outcome I would have expected from that construction technique once those failures occurred.
“20 or more seemingly inexplicable material failings and other unfortunate coincidences occurred. ”
I would love to deep dive into these. Do you have a link to the most compelling failures?
Hi Dave, I’ve hopped over to your stack to look at the most compelling evidence of DEW usage.
Of the many links this one seems the most pertinent to claims of DEWs.
Do you feel this is compelling evidence of the use of a DEW?
https://gregreese.substack.com/p/ccp-satellites-over-maui-at-time?utm_source=substack&utm_campaign=post_embed&utm_medium=web
One of the links — a tree burning from the inside out — is not definitive evidence of DEW because electric fires act precisely like that and we know for fact there were live electric wires down all over Lahaina. I saw such a fire a couple months ago a block from my house when the hydro wires touched a tree too many times and rubbed the insulation off.
Thank you for mentioning Catherine Desotou2019s u201CLies of Omissionu201D. Outstanding read. I would not have encountered it without your recommendation.
I am a huge fan of Dr DeSoto. On the topic of moon landings though, I now think that “American Moon” (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KpuKu3F0BvY) is the standard by which all documentaries should be measured against.
The way they methodically inspect claim, counterclaim, subsequent counterclaim is unmatched. That documentary moved me from 49/51 to 99/1 in that I’m 99% certain now there was no moon landing.
