Case Number: 408
- Before After
Case Study in breast implantation: the patient wants a larger implant, but her breasts are not appropriate for this. This patient has had implants in the past, and although things look superficially pretty good, notice how thin the skin is under the implant. This usually causes no problems, but there is a risk that the implant will come through the skin. On top of the breast, the skin pinch test is more substantial with much more breast tissue present. This patient wanted bigger implants, but Dr. Yoho recommended that she be happy with what she had, because of the risk the larger implant would cause problems on the bottom of the breast.
