For new readers: HERE are links to download my CV, ebooks, the best recent posts, and instructions on searching my archives. Also, HERE are links to purchase OSR, DMSO, and chlorine dioxide products, where to find them, and more. Please review Judas Dentistry; the direct link is HERE. I need your help because a passel of mercury-intoxicated dentists are giving me one-star reviews. Finally, if you have a good story or are an expert who wants to be interviewed, please contact me at [email protected].

Scan my May 2024 DMSO essay in preparation for AMD’s eight DMSO posts. My writing here is in italics, and the rest is AMD’s.

We have been given a phenomenal book-length manuscript of about 90,000 words, and AMD plans to write five more posts. No other current reference is as accessible, well-referenced, or comprehensive. Here are the original articles with links:

I hope my post will inspire the author to assemble his vital material into a book. I recommend that he go through IngramSpark, because they will pass the work to Amazon without the censorship I endured for Cassandra’s Memo.

This fantastic document is unfortunately riddled with usage errors that his current audience seems to regard as idiosyncrasies. Were these to remain in the final manuscript, they would embarrass a work of this caliber. AMD must spend several thousand dollars for editing contractors before his project is ready for publication.

He should showcase his wonderful content with tight, powerful writing. My skills improved when I hired professionals to polish each of my five books. HERE is some of what I learned from them and others. Omiting adverbs and parentheses and learning the difference between “that” and “which” are improvements AMD could make immediately. Using the paid desktop version of Grammarly when he writes would tutor him. Finally, he must learn the painful discipline of “killing your darlings”— cutting good material to improve the whole.

He should try to attract the interest of a publishing house. This is rarely easy, but I think Tony Lyons of Skyhorse, RFK Jr.’s publisher, would be interested. I have met him; he is a good dude who would maintain AMD’s anonymity and guide the process.

DMSO and chlorine dioxide

These are two of the most important therapeutic advances in history and each has been known but concealed for about five decades. A great deal of experience proves they can be used together, and they cost pennies a dose. The only comparable drug discovery was penicillin. Its inventor refused to patent it because he knew how many people it would help were it widely available.

Soon after its discovery, penicillin was saving 100,000 lives a year, but today, prescription drugs as a whole are the third leading cause of death (Peter Gøtzsche, Deadly Medicines and Organised Crime, 2013). Miracle medicines like DMSO and chlorine dioxide are hidden.

Healthcare corruption is proportional to to its price and how much billable “care” is required. Drug prices are inversely related to their clinical value—witness chemotherapy’s obscene cost and low or nonexistent benefits for all but a handful of cancers (Butchered by Healthcare). Since DMSO and chlorine dioxide are cheap, they are ideal for do-it-yourselfers and never used by criminals. They should be part of a trend to abolish Rockefeller Medicine.

A basic understanding of DMSO and CD will take you several hours each, but if you continue to study, your rewards will be phenomenal. Even after writing my earlier DMSO post, I did not get the memo about its critical importance until I went through AMD’s work. Chlorine dioxide’s worth is proven by ten million current users and tens of thousands of clinical reports, but DMSO has been established by more than 10,000 articles on the biological implications and 30,000 articles on the chemistry.

DMSO was murdered by the FDA

AMD describes the crime:

[DMSO] is now widely seen as an unproven and dangerous therapy, and even within the natural health field, most people do not know it exists…

As both the public and professional interest in DMSO was skyrocketing, the FDA decided it was unacceptable a drug they could not control was taking off around the country, and on November 10, 1965, issued a global research ban on it, causing almost every doctor who had been using it to stop out of fear of prosecution. This immediately created an underground market for DMSO, a flurry of complaints to and by elected officials over it (which eventually resulted in Congressional hearings) and an end to almost all DMSO research…

[Later, In response to various pressures], the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act of 1994 (DSHEA) [was passed], which exempted naturally occurring substances from FDA regulations. As DMSO was a natural substance, this effectively ended the FDA’s ability to prohibit the use of DMSO. Sadly, while it is now widely available, most of its uses are entirely forgotten.

Study guide

Scan through this in preparation for reading AMD’s manuscript. All quotes and concepts are his. I slightly abridged some of the following for clarity.

DMSO’s remarkable ability to treat pain is just one small facet of what this substance can do. [It:] (sic)

•Treats strokes, traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and many circulatory disorders (discussed here).

•Treats a variety of acute and chronic tissue injuries (discussed here).

•Treats a variety of “incurable” autoimmune and connective tissue disorders (discussed here).

•Treats a variety of challenging (and often incurable) eye, ear, sinus, and dental conditions such as tinnitus and blindness (discussed here).

•Treats a variety of difficult internal organ disorders (discussed here).

Many of those remarkable results… stem from DMSO being uniquely suited to address common root causes of illnesses (e.g., inflammation, microclotting, cells getting trapped in the cell danger response), and those myriad of diseases in turn simply being unique manifestations of those same processes gone awry.

DMSO has near miraculous effects

One of the virtues of DMSO is tissue remodeling. It treats scleroderma and even fibrodysplasia ossificans progressiva, where the entire skeleton becomes calcified and immobile. Maybe there is hope for my ankle and foot injuries from a lifetime of climbing.

It would probably replace all blood thinners and platelet inhibitors with a less toxic and far more effective treatment.

My wife had AL amyloidosis, which seems to have resolved after the complete removal of her tooth root canals and the associated abscesses. DMSO would be appropriate for her.

AMD describes DMSO’s effects:

By 1991, over 3,000 clinical studies had been carried out with DMSO involving over 500,000 patients. DMSO has the widest range of therapeutic applications of any single chemical…

[Applications include]

•Circulatory disorders like Reynaud’s and varicose veins.

•A wide range of neurological disorders, including ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, and spinal cord injuries leading to paralysis or dementia.

•Allowing patients who’ve had decades of chronic pain (from a variety of different causes) to get their lives back.

•Healing a wide range of injuries (e.g., sports injuries, traumatic impacts) and chronic musculoskeletal problems (e.g., spine and shoulder issues) and wounds (e.g., burns or surgical incisions).

•Chronic rheumatic conditions (e.g., arthritis).

•Complex protein disorders (e.g., amyloidosis).

•Down Syndrome.

DMSO has also been found to prevent damage from radiation therapy in non-cancerous cells and thus has been used as a complementary cancer treatment….

DMSO does most of the functions of NSAIDS and ASA [aspirin] without toxicity

It minimizes damage to heart during MI [heart attack]

DMSO has been shown to treat Bell’s Palsy and Down’s syndrome

all manner of inflammatory issues

DMSO is widely used and is approved to treat musculoskeletal conditions in veterinary medicine

Liver Failure

Gallstones and Jaundice

Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS)

Reduce pain from diabetic peripheral neuropathy

Type 1 and Type 2 diabetics have reported that DMSO reduces their need for insulin

Pancreatitis

Kidney disease

Chronic pain

wounds (e.g., burns or surgical wounds)

Sports injuries

Scars and adhesions, collagen contractures, scleroderma…

DMSO reverses many other complications of aging (e.g., skin issues, hair loss, poor organ function). IV DMSO is one of the most effective anti-aging therapies for the brain… Likewise, IV DMSO is one of the only therapies I know of which can help challenging neurological diseases Parkinson’s or ALS (where in both cases, while not curative, typically halts the progression of the disease). In turn, I periodically come across anecdotes of DMSO-consuming centenarians who have no cognitive impairment despite their age…

There are also many stories of quadriplegics who initially took DMSO to alleviate their chronic pain and then gradually regained motor function as a “side effect” of DMSO. In turn, there are many cases… of individuals overcoming lifelong paraplegia (including “hopeless” cases where their “miraculous” improvement could be traced to DMSO as it stopped once DMSO was withdrawn). This for example was a testimony of a mother whose child was saved from a lifetime of paralysis by DMSO…

In 1978, DMSO was approved for interstitial cystitis (painful bladder inflammation)—which to this day is the only thing it is FDA approved for. This approval was quite unusual, as a nice FDA committee was assigned to it and DMSO was not subject to the impossible standards it had been held to in other trials (instead a trial was composed of patients with chronic interstitial cystitis who had failed all other forms of treatment and their subsequent improvement on DMSO was deemed satisfactory to demonstrate efficacy)…

•DMSO was shown to effectively treat strokes, traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and many circulatory disorders (discussed here).

•DMSO was shown to cure a variety of “incurable” autoimmune and connective tissue disorders (discussed here).

•DMSO was shown to treat a variety of challenging (and often incurable) eye, ear, sinus, and dental conditions such as tinnitus and blindness (discussed here).

For skin disease

DMSO causing aging skin to be rejuvenated and look much younger and healthier (e.g., it happened in a few days to a 101 year old grandmother, another reader reported incredibly smooth skin, and another reported smoother skin on her face despite not applying it there and another reported it improved crepey skin on the neck and sun damaged skin on the chest).

•A dramatic improvement of chronic hemorrhoids (e.g., this reader, this reader and this reader).

•A dramatic improvement of varicose veins (e.g., this reader, this reader, this reader, this reader, this reader, this reader, this reader, this reader, this reader).

•Severe burns healing (e.g., a reader astonished by the complete recovery of a ten year old third-degree finger pad burn, a reader who had it rapidly treat blistering burns on the thighs, and a reader whose father recovered from a severe electrical fire burn). This reader, this reader, this reader, this reader, this reader, this reader, this reader, and this reader also reported that applying DMSO after a burn (e.g., from cooking) takes away the pain and promotes rapid healing.

Using it for sunburns (something DMSO has long been recognized to help provided any toxic sunscreen has been cleared away before applying DMSO)..

A study reported on 152 patients with a wide range of dermatologic conditions who received a topical DMSO spray (with no side effects except temporary intense pain in two of the recipients). These included:

•Varicose ulcers (67)—many had taken years to develop, and had received numerous (ultimately unsuccessful) surgical treatments. DMSO caused a rapid healing of the microbial infections, significant edema, pain, and patient’s inability to conduct their daily activities. Typically, the scars shrunk between 3 and 4 mm per week and patients experienced a recovery far faster than any existing treatment.
•Shingles (7)—all 7 had dramatic results within 48 hours (often completely disappearing).
•Herpes simplex (4 on the penis, 4 on the lips, 2 on the cheeks)—all 10 had dramatic results within 48 hours (often completely disappearing).
•Impetigo (8)—Improvement took up to 48 hours (impetigo is a skin infection).
•Pityriasis versicolor (42)—disappeared within a week (compared to it typically taking at least 2 months to recover) (sic)

•Ingrown toenails and infected nails (6 caused by candida, 3 caused by trichophyton)—significant improvement occurred, but it only lasted for 24 hours after the application of the spray.
•Pityriasis rosea (2)—both permanently resolved in a week (whereas this issue typically recurs).
•First and second degree burns (3)—none of the patients developed the typically expected keloids.
•Skin grafts (4)—DMSO significantly improved the final outcome.

DMSO has also been observed to be an effective treatment for other small ulcers within the mucus membranes of the mouth and genitals.

In ophthalmology, DMSO improves and sometimes cures

  • blindness

  • cataracts

  • visual acuity

  • macular degeneration

  • retinal diseases

  • trauma

DMSO’s hazards are negligible

Allergic reactions happen in 1/2000 people

It has no known issues with cancer causation or birth defects in humans.

Herxheimer reactions to DMSO due to the detoxification process can last for 12-24 hours and produce fatigue or headaches.

DMSO is far more effective than NSAIDS (nonsteroidal antiinflammatory (sic) drugs) for musculoskeletal and chronic pain conditions. NSAIDS, steroids, and opioids each kill tens of thousands of Americans each year, whereas in over 60 years of use by millions of people, DMSO has not been [convincingly] linked to a single death.

It one of the most researched medical substances in history…

To reach the LD50 [where half the people die] of DMSO, you would need to drink roughly two quarts of it within an hour, which is more DMSO than daily DMSO users ingest over two months.

A temporary (and sometimes uncomfortable) irritation of the skin when DMSO is administered topically that typically disappears in 10 minutes (and at most 20) and varies widely in how it feels (e.g., some find it pleasant, others find it extremely unpleasant). Typically this irritation can be alleviated by immediately washing it off with water, and it is generally advised to avoid further irritating the skin by scratching the irritated area.

Garlic breath [experienced by some]

The other significant effect of DMSO is that prior to it drying, it will drag chemicals (but not bacteria) which are on the skin where it is applied to the body.

Despite millions of treatments having been given, no death has ever been linked to DMSO (and the only two ever considered, one in 1965, and one in 1994 did not make a strong case DMSO was the cause of death).

Note: thousands of papers have been published on the biological effects of DMSO and I have not yet found one that reported an adverse event from DMSO. Because of that, I’ve mostly avoided mentioning each study I site (sic) here, “detected no adverse events from DMSO…”

A meticulous human study found taking 90 days of DMSO at 3-30 times the standard dosage did not cause any toxicity and was well tolerated by the research subjects (whereas almost any other drug would be extremely dangerous at doses that high)…

When used on open wounds in horses, DMSO was found to rapidly stimulate healthy granulation tissue, decrease excessive granulation tissue, and both eliminate existing infections in the wounds and prevent new infections.

Usage, dosing, and purchasing

DMSO can be used topically, orally, and intravenously. To take it orally, it should be diluted in water or juice. I often use milk and take it with food. Sometimes I brush my teeth with it, then swish it for 20 minutes as if I am oil pulling. Absorption through the skin is excellent but not as good as other methods.

Although some plastics are resistant to it, using glass containers is generally better to avoid dissolvng and consuming plastic. After I mixed DMSO with a toothbrush handle, I could taste it. Avoid contact with makeup, metals, and dyes such as hair dye.

AMD suggested that people grow tolerant to DMSO if they do not take two days off a week. I did not see a reference for this.

I used topical DMSO for months, but when I finally started drinking it, my results were dramatic. My ankles were less swollen and painful and my athletic injuries and arthritic hips stopped talking to me.

To treat my macular degeneration, I put DMSO and chlorine dioxide (CDS) drops in my eyes several times a day for a month. Since I was diluting it with water rather than saline, it stung. HERE is my post with the details. When I realized that taking 200 mg of melatonin powder eliminated macular problems, I stopped. I also learned that putting DMSO on eyelids penetrates to the retina, so why was I torturing myself by dripping it in my eyes?

AMD wrote that some people see results when they take only a few drops of DMSO orally a day. I started with a teaspoon and worked up to a tablespoon twice a day and may take more. As far as I can tell, this is harmless. Pierre Kory told me DMSO is a fairly good treatment for Parkinson’s but that improvement requires months, so I am persisting.

To buy it, see the links in the top paragraph of this post.

AMD convicts the FDA of murdering millions

Yet he writes with a Mandarin, academic tone:

Unfortunately, due to various negative political factors, the FDA went from embracing DMSO to going to war against it, and eventually, the pharmaceutical industry reluctantly followed suit…

The fact that it’s been known DMSO [cures all these diseases] for over 50 years (it’s even therapeutic for hemorrhagic strokes and can cross the blood-brain barrier to heal damaged neurons), in a nutshell, summarized why quite a few people I know harbor great animosity towards the FDA.

Briefly, for a variety of political reasons (which I detailed here#), the FDA realized the agency would greatly benefit from DMSO being outlawed.

What do I think?

“Negative political factors?” Try global psychopaths killing us for population control. Pharma a “reluctant” criminal? Hardly. Their homicides date to World War II when IG Farben, Bayer’s owner, manufactured Zyklon B for the German gas chambers. “The agency would greatly benefit from DMSO being outlawed?” Absurd. The FDA is a creature of Pharma and the globalists.

The FDA has been slaughtering us for decades. Their leaders should be hung. Their employees should be stripped of their degrees and forbidden to work in science, government, or related industries on pain of death. They should be turned out into the street to watch their buildings burned and the ground they stood on sown with salt so that no evil crop would ever grow there again.

There you have it—a 3700 word summary of medicine’s second most important topic. If you find it valuable, throw some of your friends’ emails into the blank below. Whether you tell them first is on you.

The second thing you can do is to share this post. Many thanks for this and best… ❤️❤️

I cannot describe how happy I am to be done with clinical medicine and work as a commentator. I still wake up in the middle of the night worrying about some imagined patient complication. Every surgeon does this, and if you are anxious, it is overwhelming.

So note well: If you think I am your doctor, you are deluded, and if you think medical care can be run out of a Substack, you are crazy. But if you yearn for a day when chlorine dioxide, DMSO, and common sense will replace Rockefeller medicine, join the club. It cannot come too soon.

Parting shot #1: editors

All great writers use editors, and middling writers like me are helpless without them. Editors help with ideas, structure, research, and emphasis. Mine occasionally kill one of my essays before I make a fool of myself. Thank you, Jim Arnold (Liar’s World Substack), Elizabeth Cronin, and others. After years of arduous practice, I can write reasonably well if I spend enough time and have your help.

Top writers all admit that their first drafts are garbage and say that their process is time-consuming and exhausting. My posts require a minimum of forty hours.

Parting shot #2: Pierre Kory and Scott Marsland

Scott described their therapeutic model during our recent podcast. I wonder if using chlorine dioxide to treat the spike and DMSO to treat the rest would be just as effective. DMSO likely accomplishes everything the Sulodexide blood thinner does and more.

I asked them to consider treating a few patients solely with DMSO and chlorine dioxide and do their usual tests. We might learn an effective, economical way to defeat spike injury.

If you want to become their patient, see DrPierreKory.com. They are caring, brilliant, conscientious caregivers.

Sometimes things canu2019t be perfect. We canu2019t eliminate everything we think might be toxic and add that stress. Wash your hands and clean the skin area. Use organic cotton applicators (available everywhere) or a new natural hair artists brush. I buy distilled water. I drink it in juice. Keep it simple. I have some metal measuring spoons to dilute in u201Cpartsu201D and some empty metal top glass spice bottles. I would love suggestions for avoiding or managing the dmso odor. Topical application has been great for my crunchy, arthritic spine but my hips are still resisting topical DMSO. I’d like to try it orally, but I’m afraid of the stink. If I take teaspoon in 4 oz of water, how long will the average person stink? I’ve heard it suggested that chlorine dioxide counters the small and, if that’s the case, I should be ok.

PS I’ve also been experimenting with bio magnets for my arthritis, compressed spine and low energy and finding them helpful.

          • Avatar Lisau2019s Alternate Reality says:

Beverly! I am so sorry you are going through this. The ever compressing spine. It sucks. I am assuming you have tried everything? I use votern gel or arnica cream. Arnica helps the muscles relax and elevate pain. I was in a nasty car accident, I have 2 fake knees and a fake hip. It affects my back. I use a cervical traction collar for my spine. It works and it was 9.99$. I have been struggling with body pain for years, I canu2019t take opioids, steroids or anti inflammatories. I am highly allergic to it all. I just had my 7th replacement surgery on my body, my left knee, and so far no back or neck pain. I donu2019t like trauma to the body, any kind. Also how is that diet? After all modern, Western treatments failed for my high-grade, urothelial carcinoma (bladder/urinary tract cancer – 10 recurrences with spread to urethra and both ureters), I began using a 50% DMSO solution, on my own, in my bladder for 20-25 minutes (interstitial cystitis protocol, but 180ml instead of 50ml). The results have been amazing, thank you Lord Jesus. Medical answer was to perform an advanced, radical cystectomy, meaning surgeon takes everything but my right kidney and urethra (post prostate), to include all pelvic lymphnodes – barbaric. The Lord God said, “No.”

DMSO is known to be cytotoxic to cancer, and it’s being proven out in my own treatment. I do 2x/wk installations, after high-dose intravenous vitamin C treatments (also cytotoxic to cancer at very-high cellular concentration levels). DMSO theoretically transports the IVC into the cells for the double effect.

All of my symptoms have disappeared, including kidney pain and tightness around prostate. I do allow DMSO to sit in my urethra for 5 minutes, and then go into a strange, yoga-like position for 15 minutes with my feet on a vibration plate, to get the solution ‘up’ the urethras.

It’s supposedly the ONLY thing that DMSO is FDA approved for: interstitial cystitis.

Problem is – the docs you are likely to go to are unlikely to have heard of such a protocol/procedure. None of them ever mentioned it to me for my bladder problems. They’d rather throw pills at it.

SO – while it’s ‘approved,’ it’s still forgotten.

True. In some cases. I am trying to get her to do it with my next cystoscopy. She knows about it, and yes, itu2019s easier for them to throw pills at us. I had dmso done several times when I started getting cytos as a child.

Thank you so much for posting this! I feel the best option going forward is not to try to reform the HHS (which is to a large extent a lost cause) but to provide people with the tools (ie. DMSO and CDS) to bypass the medical industry.

The ones I am planning to still write are:
    DMSO for infections
    DMSO for cancer
    Combination DMSO therapies (eg. DMSO+CDS, DMSO+vitamin C)
A summary of people’s DMSO experiences

I have a question but first: Thank you, AMD, for your research and information. Thanks to the both of you by for helping people cure themselves with simple and inexpensive products.

AMD: It seems that between CD and DMSO we can cure just about anything yet, I suffer with narcolepsy which no one ever talks about or they are less than helpful. I do take the one, heavily regulated drug that helps me sleep but I am desperate to get away from the short leash the medication keeps me on. Do you know if there is a chance for DMSO to aid/cure my narcolepsy? Or could you point me in the direction of new research, if you know of any?

Many thanks in advance for any helpful tidbit.

      • Avatar Rolf says:

        NON-TOXIC == GIVE IT A TRY
Given that DMSO is non-toxic and the fact that DMSO is sedative, why not just just try it for a period of time, say a month or two and then report back the results in the comments?

        DMSO + HONEY
Very few people are allergic to DMSO so unless you have any severe adverse reactions you don’t have anything to lose by trying. 1 teaspoon in a glass of water or juice before going to bed. Done. After a week or two, try a table spoon before going to bed. Mix DMSO with say 1/5 honey to reduce exhaling sulfur (or take a teaspoon of honey separately, to keep it even simpler). And off you go.

        MEDICAL ADVICE
It is typically also not a good idea to ask a medical doctor for advice on medication over the Internet, because they simply won’t answer (due to legal and professional reasons).

        WHAT I’VE TRIED
My advice above is not from a medical doctor, but from someone who has tried DMSO for different problems. I tried on my own based on the fact that DMSO is a non-toxic substance and that many other people have tried it, as reported in the articles and also in the comments under these articles.

For example, I skipped Eliquis (Apixaban) entirely, a blood thinner prescribed for life. Instead I take a table spoon of DMSO every night. Done.

        Try it.

Lot of devotion to that sulphur(1)-oxygen(1)-carbon(2)-hydrogen(6) compound, only followed by chlor(1)-oxygen(2) in healings of humanity. Thank you Doc.
    Sorry, I’m old fashioned, still like VITAMIN C = Oxygen (6 ->SIX!) – Carbon(6) – Hydrogen(8) most, since that’s, what gives the body max of OXYGEN=>breathing.
BUT, everyone is different, and likes different things. It is a funny world.. If you have lot of misfolded proteins go for DMSO, if you have fluid imbalances and broken channels, go for chlorine dioxide, and if you are too sweet, go for something more sour, like Vit C;)
You always need to shake your body, find what’s missing and fill out the holes with the right stuff.

I know Bob, you have that MD behind your name, but you would need to make me BELIEVE in what you are saying, and I’m not there yet.
Partly, because have NO ACCESS to a PURE 100% organic CD, and DMSO just didn’t work for me. And you know why? Because certain elements, like zinc for example, are a MUST in order to heal. There are HUNDREDS of enzymes which just won’t work without metals, so yes, you can unfold and fold back again the proteins you have issues with, but if you are deficient in certain minerals, because for one thing, of being loaded with heavy metals for example, then good luck with trials… Hemoglobin needs iron, which then does the breathing, which also won’t happen without zinc.. So having just Cl, C, O, S, H elements to heal is just not enough, and that includes Vit C…. Unless, you come up with some kind of transmutation within the human body…..
Just talking about my own experiences, in which DMSO burned like hell and worsened my skin, and Zinc+o.i. brought it back to normal.

        • Avatar Robert Yoho, MD says:

          dilute the DMSO

          • Avatar mejbcart says:

I tried that too of course, but the burning was still there… You can’t imagine how many things I tried in the last few months… The shape of my fingernails shows a clear sign of severe zinc deficiency, which I learned only recently… There is more to it all, but in any case, the type of fat, protein and minerals is essential for skin healing. I do have some experience in that regard, alone by the fact of IGNORING the Stanford criminal ‘spell casting’ MD team and instead of never ending surgeries putting the highest concentration of IODINE available on my dangerously spreading skin cancer, and getting rid of it this way..

AMD is perfectly capable of his own editing, but being a practicing physician while writing frequent long posts for readers means that he writes quickly without revising. We have gotten used to this (I used to suggest edits, but stopped when I realized he simply does not have time for that). We don’t consider them idiosyncratic, rather a result of time constraints. Yes, he could easily write several books, and yes, it would take lots of editing and polishing time. I don’t know if that would be in the best interest of the public or not. The information is already available to everyone.

        • Avatar A Midwestern Doctor says:

I have gone through numerous editors. In most cases they create more work than they save, particularly since many of the edits they make worsen rather than improve the content or make it incorrect and I have to then check all their work and undo some of it. The majority of readers aren’t bothered by the typos, and every person I know in this genre who has gotten a large audience reached the same conclusion; catching every typo has a bad risk/benefit trade off because a very small portion of the readership will reject content on the basis of typos, so you are effectively sacrificing 30-50% of your growth (in terms of volume of content created) to appeal to that demographic.

The DMSO series thusfar has taken around 1000 hours of work on my part and I had to make a lot of huge sacrifices over the last 6 months to find the time to do that (which was my choice but nonetheless had a real cost to me to the point I wish I could go back in time and have never done this). If I had tried to get rid of the remaining typos (many of which I believe aren’t actually typos but rather stylistic choices on my end) quite a few of the articles you posted here would not have gotten published and likely never would have. I also still have a massive amount of work left to do on the DMSO series I am still desperately searching for the time to do.

          • Avatar Robert Yoho, MD says:

You have said all this to me before, but you are wrong. I will try one last time:

There are right and wrong styles. Great writers agree on what works. Study writing–you are a writer.

Conventional style and few to no errors are necessary to guide the reader seamlessly through your prose. True, it all takes time to do right, but someone else can do most of it in your case. Your work is more important than anything you have ever done and needs to be presented cleanly. You are creating a legacy; if you find a true collaborator, it will be far more impactful. DMSO is the second most important issue in healthcare.

The right pro editor would teach you a lot and tune your writing. You can afford them–your readers are paying you handsomely. When you hire a lawyer, the first rule is to PAY them, for you get what you pay for. The same goes for editors. Search for someone you trust and can collaborate with. I know your anonymity creates problems, but you can figure that out.

The second rule is to freaking listen to your editor. We both know you are the smartest guy in the room, but this carries the fallacy that you think your judgment always rules. In this area, it does not.

We have all been forced to painfully change our minds dozens of times in the past few years. Man up about this issue and change your mind here.

Regardless of what you do, I am grateful for your work, particularly the DMSO material. Reading what you wrote so far was a watershed, and I look forward to the rest. It deserves a book, and Tony Lyons of Skyhorse might supply the right editor. From what I understand, publishers get more refined material than yours, but with the quality of your research and analysis, he might do the work for you.

          • Avatar A Midwestern Doctor says:

Thank you Robert, I really appreciate your advice (some of it like the guest posting stuff was pivotal in me getting to where I am now and had you not suggested it, it would have never occurred to me). I’ve been in touch with Skyhorse and that’s basically just been a bandwidth issue as well. Once this stuff gets booked it will have a lot more editors. Apparently this doesnu2019t happen with everyone? It seems to only happen if I drink it, not if I rub it on, but from this and other articles Iu2019ve read, drinking it seems to be more effective, especially for cognitive issues.

It sounds like it is causing you to detox and would probably dissipate in time. However you should also be following a healthy diet and most definitely not ingesting alcohol while on it. Also if you are on prescription drugs, this is not advisable in combination with DMSO.

          • Avatar Janet says:

Iu2019m under the impression that only certain drugs interact according to AMD.

          • Avatar Lulu says:

In Amanda Vollmer’s book DMSO for Healing, discusses this topic. DMSO makes things work “more” or in a more concentrated way. The concern seems to be that if you are on a blood thinner it can make the blood too thin. The other sentiment she shares is that if you are using a holistic approach, then pharmaceuticals aren’t necessarily aligned with that approach as they can overdo or be at odds with a natural approach. It’s a great book that has many at home remedies using DMSO safely. I learned a lot from it.

    • Avatar Unapologetically Me says:

I can smell (and taste) it whenever I apply topically. Everyone else could probably smell it too but am rarely in contact with anyone on the days I use it.

Definitely “garlicky”. Maybe “chivey”? (In that taste & smell family.)

The closest I’ve ever come to drinking it was when I applied it to a tooth, along with food grade h202.

      Killed the infection.

The tooth (above the root?) also died and eventually the entire molar cracked off, in pieces, while chewing food.

This happened over a period of time. Since 2017. Took about 3 years.

Still have some of the tooth “base” left, so the (dead) root must still exist, under that?

No further problems with it though!

  • Avatar A Andersen says:

What is MMS? I see it referred to in the comments, but a search of the article does not yield any results.

    • Avatar A Andersen says:

Never mind. I’ve answered my own question by going back thru the articles. MMS stands for Miracle or Master Mineral Solution. I knew that. Just forgot. It is simply that 28% sodium chlorite in distilled water, which is the active ingredient in the Snoot product I am happily using. So it is bottle A or B in the Snoot box that, that when mixed with the acidic part in the other bottle, creates the chlorine dioxide.

For your entertainment, check out this dark FDA web page that says that chlorine dioxide is “a powerful bleaching agent.” Hah Hah. Here is the link:

      https://www.fda.gov/news-events/press-announcements/fda-warns-consumers-about-dangerous-and-potentially-life-threatening-side-effects-miracle-mineral

The most entertaining snippet from this link is the line that “[t]he FDAu2019s drug approval process ensures that patients receive safe and effective drug products.” Oh boy! Whew! Glad they have my back.

This page goes on to say that “the solution when mixed [chlorine dioxide], develops into a dangerous bleach which has caused serious and potentially life-threatening side effects.” It also calls the mixed solution “a powerful bleaching agent.”

Uh oh. I’ve been snorting Snoot for awhile now, but my nose has not disintegrated yet.

It goes on to say that “Miracle Mineral Solution and similar products are not FDA-approved, and ingesting these products is the same as drinking bleach.”

Really? No difference huh? Between Clorox bleach and chlorine dioxide. I suppose that taking sodium chlorite by itself, without the citric acid activator, might not be advisable, but no such distinction is made on this FDA page.

      • Avatar Janet says:

Is that what the press demonized when President Trump mentioned CD at the beginning of Covid and they twisted it to say he said to drink bleach? Must be. MSM can die at anytime. Please. So much blood on their malevolent claws.

After all modern, Western treatments failed for my high-grade, urothelial carcinoma (bladder/urinary tract cancer – 10 recurrences with spread to urethra and both ureters), I began using a 50% DMSO solution in my bladder for 20-25 minutes (interstitial cystitis protocol, but 180ml instead of 50ml).

This experience very minor as a health matter but shows how potent DMSO can be.

I had a notch in my nose since seven years old. Long scary wart hanging down from nose. Doctor burned it off twice, didn’t work. Volleyball in the face at recess knocked it off, bled, gone for good. But left a notch behind. Rim of nostril, right in front. Not even that bad cosmetically but a missing piece.

DMSO orally, a teaspoon a day for two months. Did not apply anything topically to face. The nose is complete 65 years later. Cartilage, matching fresh skin, all there as if it never happened.

Also fixed my knees, weak tendon damaged wrist, vanished a 40 stitch scar above my knee (stitched in ER by Dr. Yoho), all sorts of positive effects.

    Question…

We just found DMSO from AMD, and so far all the reading both myself and my husband have done says that the smell is a mild-moderate “garlic breath” or smell on the skin.

However, the smell from my husband was so putrid, I was gagging. It was the worst rotten smell. I could go on to describe it, but i need not. We went to my parents house, and they described the same. The smell has lingered in their home even now, 2 days later.

My husband took: day 1 (4pm) 5ml, internal
Day 2: 5ml internal upon waking, then 5ml external mixed with vitamins on his skin (for headache), again around 12noon externally – 5ml.
Day 3: nothing, because of me unable to cope with the smell, plus needing to go to work.

He has been taking chlorophyll and drinking “an uncomfortable amount of water” – about 3-4 liters before dinner time.

    Dear Dr. Yoho,

i write you from Lima, Peru, and I hope my English is not so bad, that I can express myself correctly.

4 months ago, my mother had a fall in a classmates reunion, and she had a pain in her right leg, though she could walk with difficulty.

We took her to a traumatologist, and the X rays showed that she had no fractures, but that she suffered from arthrosis on both knees. He then prescribed 2 painkillers for 10 days and then infiltrations.

One of them had a list of secondary effects so I stopped giving it to her and asked stupidly a pharmacist for an equivalent.

At first my mom could walk, with some difficulty, but apparently after taking this medication (or maybe because a discussion we had about cable fees) she couldnu2019t even stand up

I took her to a Hospital to make some exams, including a magnetic resonance, and just before release an anonymous traumatologist came and said he had u201Cdiscoveredu201D a fracture, after 3 days of u201Cexaminingu201D it.

i donu2019t believe what this u201Cspecialistu201D said, so I searched for another solution, and reading about stem searched cells, I decided that this would be the best treatment possible.

I read that itu2019s a well established discipline today, and there are many options today here in Lima.

I consulted a well known clinic on stem cells, recommended by a friend, and they said she applied for the treatment.

The doctors said that she suffered from 4th grade arthrosis, and it was the only reliable diagnostic I had heard since the accident.

The problem is that she and all the people around mistrust the treatment for a series of arguments.

Now i have read about DMSO, and I think it would be an adequate treatment for her.

Please, tell me what should I do?

A very good post. As internal medicine, DMSO can be more conveniently promoted as capsules. It can by pass issues like taste and small, but providing the same effect. I am sure it will happen sometime as it gets recognised as a main stream medicine, if not already being done. Another point is that its use and promotion must be done stage by stage, starting with critical conditions like cancer, auto immune diseases and some infections where available treatments are very expensive. However much backed up by trials and data, suddenly suggesting it for 101 conditions may not be well received by the public.

  • Avatar Moro Balakrishnan says:

I would also suggest that some intrepid researchers take up studying its chemical mechanisms in biological situations, like NMR and other methods. Once known and confirmed, I am sure the scope for its use as a medicine will expand far beyond the present experiences of trial and error. Its capabilities come from its chemical structure. First, it has a powerful S=O dipole that can take part in strong electrostatic interactions with bio molecules like proteins and peptides. Second, it complexes water effectively, as a 2:1 complex, two molecules of water to one molecule of DMSO. This can have tremendous effect at active pathological sites and surfaces. Third, it is a small molecule, unlike peptides and proteins. It can also lock very effectively through electrostatic and hydrogen bonding interactions, not constrained by the spatial geometry at molecular level. This is probably one strong reason why it is effective in countless, diverse, complex situations.

  • Avatar Moro Balakrishnan says:

I have suggested this before, would do it here again. Researchers and doctors, please unlock the medicinal value of Sulforaphane, a DMSO structural analogue and the important constituent of crucifers like broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cabbage etc. See if it is as effective, it should be as internal medicines, if not for topical applications like skin etc. It will be a more palatable form of this chemistry that must find ready acceptance. It is already known to be anti cancer and I am not sure if it is being promoted so. Main stream doctors who have some reservations about DMSO should find Sulforaphane readily acceptable, if it works well.
